Gr 5-8-Divination class is in session! Taking pains to stress that divination is merely a suggestion, that people control their own destinies, and that practitioners should proceed with kindness, these books go on to show readers how to summon their empathic instincts. Numerology calculates and explains the significant numbers, while Astrology explains how to use the Internet to get a full birth chart. Palm Reading provides good diagrams for locating the full suite of lines and describes their characteristics, and also covers hand shape and mounts. Tarot defines the Major Arcana and lists the characteristics of each suit of the Minor Arcana and the basic meanings of the numbered and court cards. In addition to useful diagrams, historical images and art are employed to good effect, making these books a pleasure to look at and a quick read.
